Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 (for PlayStation 4)
Publisher Capcom, a company with a rich video game history dating dorsum to the 1980s, is once once again poised to give Blue Bomber fans a dose of retro-platforming action, this time with Mega Human being Legacy Drove two.
Picking up where the original Mega Homo Legacy Collection left off, Mega Man Legacy Drove 2 bundles the remaining mainline Mega Man games, as well equally product art work and other goodies, in a great-looking, $xix.99 package.
The Mega Plan
Mega Man Legacy Drove ii is an interesting compilation, as it shows the series' development every bit console hardware became more powerful. Included are Mega Man vii (Super Nintendo), Mega Man 8 (PlayStation, Saturn), and the retro-themed Mega Man 9 and ten (Xbox 360, PlayStation three). If you're looking for the games in the Mega Man X offshoot serial, you sadly won't detect them here.
Like the other games in the series, these titles see Mega Human battling the evil Dr. Wily and his super-powered Robot Masters. Each game lets you tackle the dominate bots in any guild, advisable their powers when yous defeat them, and move on to the adjacent robot until y'all face up off with Wily.
I revisited Mega Homo 7 and 8, and enjoyed the shooting and jumping activity that is the series' trademark. The games aren't as hard as the beginning six, but I still got bodied by dominate characters in my E3 demo session. Thankfully, these tough-as-nails titles at present accept an Extra Armor option that reduces the amount of damage you take from enemy blows past half.
The Goodies
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 likewise comes packed with additional content, including time trials, remixed stage challenges, online leaderboards, a dedicated music player, and an all-encompassing gallery of rare illustrations. The drove also has the boosted playable characters and stages that were originally released equally Mega Human being 9 and ten DLC.
Similar the first game, Mega Man Legacy Collection two enhances the visuals so y'all can properly play them on widescreen monitors and relish a well-baked 1080p resolution.
